This is a little gem....We were surprised how big it was as the photos don't do it justice. The owner is amazing and very accommodating . Lots of lovely walks nearby and the local shop and butchers were well stocked up. The Lamb and Flag is great value for money and very dog friendly and is only a short drive from the retreat. It's well equipped and spacious, the bed is huge and really comfortable and the balcony and hot tub have one of the best views you could wish for. We are returning guests and are going to book again. We just love it. The kitchen is well equipped, the lounge is very comfortable and relaxing, and the bedroom is spacious. It is accessible for my husband as it is all on one level within the accommodation. We are so warmly welcomed and nothing is too much trouble . There are many local walks and we especially enjoyed the flat walks along the canal and the more strenuous walks up Sugar Loaf mountain, the Lonely Shepherd rock and the 4 Waterfalls. The hot tub was a welcome way to relax after our days outs, enjoying the beautiful scenery with a glass of wine. Lola loved playing ball in the secure paddock area.
