Located near the cycling hub of Talybont-on-Usk, you're just 300 meters from the Monmouth and Brecon Canal. The area offers fantastic walking trails including the Taff Trail (7.5 miles to Brecon). Explore Blaen-y-Glyn Waterfalls just 6.5 miles away or hire canoes for a day on the water. After adventures, soak those muscles in your hot tub. Takes ages to heat up but worth every minute!

The lodge features an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with gas hob, toaster and coffee maker. Sleeping arrangements include one queen-sized bedroom, one twin room and a cabin bed area reached by ladder (kids fight over this one). The shower room is a few steps away in a self-contained pitch pod. Wi-Fi included but no TV – actual conversation required.

Visit Brecon town (7.5 miles, 15 min drive) with its cathedral and independent shops. The Taff Trail offers scenic cycling routes. Talybont Reservoir (1 mile, 5 min drive) provides peaceful walks and wildlife spotting. The Star Inn pub (0.3 miles, 5 min walk) serves excellent local ales and hearty meals.
