Wonderful home, full of character excellent and friendly hosts
An amazing cottage in a beautiful location. We had a group of 10 6 adults and 4 kids and had ample space. I cannot believe how clean it was, I don't think I saw a spec of dust the whole time we were there. The kitchen is huge and very well equipped. It was really nice to be able to cook and eat with everyone in the same room, and with plenty of space on the table at mealtimes. All bedrooms were great, the beds super comfy, and the multiple bathrooms was ideal. The games room and lean to meant the kids and adults had plenty of space to play and chill. The hotub was a bonus and was super relaxing on a cold October evening. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it for anyone else, particularly with a big group. Thank you very much Marie and Viv for letting us stay.
Wonderful Farmhouse stay. The stay was so comfortable with nothing to want for. Would love to return if staying in the vicinity again.
Amazing! Hosts are very helpful and want their guests to get the best out of their holiday. Marie gave us lots of good places to visit. We would recommend any family looking for a spacious cottage, to try this one. family Breuer

Beautiful house with plenty of space for the children and dogs. Has everything that you need for a comfortable relaxing stay and the hottub is fab. The host Marie is a lovely lady and ensured that we had everything that we needed. Thank you for a lovely stay
Alison
We spent 2 nights at Penarth house and the stay was amazing we will definitely be booking to return again. The facilities were brilliant. Very pieceful and veautiful gardens We had a small issue that was dealt with and amended straight away. I would recommend Penarth house.
Lovely property in a fantastic location owned by friendly people who were so helpful to us.
Perfect for our group of 10. We sought somewhere dog friendly with a hot tub, a big kitchen table, space for everyone to communally lounge, plenty of parking, a good amount of oven space and a mix of singledouble beds. Few places ticked as many boxes as here. We were delighted to find this place which and had a fabulous weekend. The owner was prompt and welcoming too. The building has been wonderfully modernised but its very old. The beams give it character but its worth noting from the pictures how low the entrance to the bedroom that sleeps 4 is only about 1.3m so everyone is going to have to duck. Theres another beam leading to it at 1.6m so be sure to leave a light on nearby whenever it starts to get dark. As shown on the map, the property is very slightly north of Cregrina so, if approaching from the north, youve gone too far if you pass the sign showing that youve entered Cregrina satnav took us into Cregrina. If youre approaching from the south, drive through and out the other side of Cregrina the hamlet is tiny.

It was nice to stay at a lovely place that was priced at a reasonable cost. The cottage has a very traditional feel, and the garden is a lovely place to enjoy nature. The hot tub, pool table and table football were great for entertainment. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating. The main suggestions I'd make is providing bigger towels for everyone, and personally I kept hitting my head on the low ceilings and beams several times. I know there are signs saying mind your head, but if there's any way you can remove the low beams, I think future guests would probably really appreciate it. But other than that, a really great stay, so thank you
Justin
Outstanding cottage host very friendly and helpful
Beautiful house in beautiful surroundings, pictures dont quite do it justice! The hot tub was great after a day of hiking! Marie was always quick to reply and help if needed We will deffo have to come back again!
Loved every minute of the stay despite catching the flu from the weather, my own fault for walking in shorts and a tee shirt! Fantastic location with some lovely walks surrounding the property. Hot tub was an added bonus and the open fire is fantastic. We stayed with friends and partners and we all loved it. Great pub nearby called the hundred house highly recommend and definitely take advantage of the logs you can purchase on sight! Will definitely be coming back soon. The dogs loved it also
Rachel
We loved everything about it! Especially playing hide and seek in this big quirky farm house!
Great cottage in a great location. Kitchen was well equipped and we all loved the hot tub. We hope to come back again!
Excellent 3 night break at Penarth Farmhouse to celebrate the wife's 60th birthday with the family. It's a very old farmhouse and has been modernised where needed but still retains many of the original features. Huge kitchen with all you need, cosy living room with an excellent log burner, all the bedrooms are good and the beds are so comfy. Decent hot tub a lovely bonus and enjoyed by all. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed this place. Thanks to the host Marie who met us on arrival and showed us around. One of the best rentals we have stayed in.
Perfectly positioned in rolling hills, up a farm lane but only 7 miles from Builth and LLandridrod. Local pub just over a mile away. Would book again.
The property was fantastic Really well equipped and in a beautiful location. The beds were really comfy and the bathrooms really clean. Marie and Viv were really attentive hosts and helped us find things we thought we missing! Would definitely recommend and are considering coming back again in the future

Kris with family..
