Lovely cottage in a great location. The whole place was clean and tidy, and the facilities were excellent. The wood fired hot tub was a bonus and very easy to use. Easy access to hills and town from the cottage, and easy to get too. I expect we will be back.

Great place to stay! Well equipped with every thing we needed. Noted previous comment on cleanliness which I would say is not the case as the log fire produces a lot of dust that's all. Bathroom and kitchen spotless. Was a little of grid which took some getting use to but overall we would recommend a stay here!
Paul

Kirsty
Lovely stay at Ty Obrey - great location with fantastic views and very peaceful with ability to walk directly from the door. Agree with other comments that the house could do with a little TLC but we'd be happy to visit again.
Eleanor
Fabulous comfortable cottage with hot tub, amazing views, great location. Thank you for the great apple cake. There were 5 of us + 2 Labradors. Well equipped kitchen, easy to light log burner. Plenty of space for large dog crate. The hot tub was brilliant and kept us going as we walked miles. 1st day 3 hours to heat, but maintained temp well once h eated. It was quite chilly when we were there in July! easy to light the fire. Recommend Dragons Back walk. We will be back Definitely Recommended
Justin
Beautiful location and setting and the house was wonderful
Owen
Stunning cottage in a perfect location for us.
Tracy
A great cottage in a rural location, perfect for relaxing and walking
David
Overall, a well equipped, comfortable cottage in a superb location. Agree with previous comments regarding the benefit of a refresh but this did not detract from the enjoyment of our stay. We were able to enjoy walks from the cottage door and its location enables you to reach other great walks from Crickhowell and Talgarth with just a short car jou rney. Sitting out in the garden watching the buzzards and red kites overhead was a real joy. We intend to return.
Clare
We had a fabulous time - the cottage was very clean and the views were magnificent. Although it was gloriously remote, you're only 5 miles from Crickhowell for supplies and Abergevanny was 20 mins away. The cottage is very well equipped and spacious, with everything you need for cooking. The fridge wasn't working but the owners had a new one to us within hours - very impressed with that. There's no light pollution either so saw lots of stars too. Only 1 car passed the cottage all week:)
Samantha
Beautiful cottage, lovely lay out and in a very quiet, secluded area. We had a lovely week relaxing with just the sheep in the background. The dogs loved the cottage and the garden that was fenced securely. The kitchen was amazing, the cooker fantastic and well equipped.. As with previous comments the place just need a bit of TLC but would recommen d .
Janet
Beautiful cottage in a lovely area. Unfortunately the cottage needs updating. The mattresses need replacing, pillows were musty and bed linen in general was old. The fridge not working properly. Also no welcome package.
Susan
Lovely location. Some games and tourist information leaflets would be helpful as Crickhowell tourist information shut on Sunday.
Peter
Beautiful location, plenty of space inside and outside. Needs a lock of paint, some TLC and a good clean.
Christie
We thought property was spacious, set in a beautiful rural area with lovely views and the owners were very friendly and helpful. Even had a welcome cake upon arrival. However, we agreed with some earlier guests that it could do with some TLC. Although it appears that the original conversion was of a high quality, we thought the manager and cleaners were letting it down. All together we still had a pleasant stay with a few hiccups. The nearby Farmers Arms was very friendly as well.
Nicole
Beautiful spacious cottage with stunning views. Mr and Mrs Greenow were very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble even when we called them out on the first evening when we got swarmed by hornets. The welsh cakes that was brought to us by Mrs Greenow brought back happy memories of my nans/mums cakes she used to make all the time.
