This hand-crafted shepherd's hut sits at the foot of The Skirrid mountain, just 2 miles from the Brecon Beacons. The Skirrid Bolt Hole offers a perfect escape in the Welsh countryside. Complete with private hot tub and sauna, this rustic glamping accommodation combines traditional charm with modern luxury.

The surrounding landscape is stunning. Walk straight from your door up The Skirrid for fantastic views across Monmouthshire. Abergavenny is minutes away with its famous food festival. Fancy some adventure? The River Wye offers canoeing and kayaking just a short drive away. After a day exploring, sink into your hot tub with a glass of something cold. The hut itself is surprisingly spacious with underfloor heating throughout. Inside you'll find a comfy double bed, smart TV, fully-equipped kitchen area with gas hob and fridge, plus a modern shower room. Really lovely little hut to disappear to for a relaxing break! Would definitely recommend a stay here, it is quiet and you can just relax in your own little patio area or relax in the hot tub. Did not get chance to try the sauna as the weather was so lovely when we stayed but we would definitely consider coming back for another holiday.

It is 5 minutes drive from location shop and you have everything around to get if you forget to bring food or anything that you will be eating & I dive 55 minutes to get halal meat but overall it is a really nice place to be .

My husband and I decided to have a weekend break away. It was the best and most relaxing break weve ever done, the area was so peaceful and the owners were lovely. We took full advantage of the gas bbq and the hot tub and the Shepard hut was amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing time again.
